Formless Ruins (2009-2012)

This series explores cartography and mapping. The process begins by dissecting the streets of topographic maps of a selected city. As the process evolves the work becomes about deconstructing the context of maps—knowledge and its systems of representation. Reminiscent of ancient petroglyphs the emerging information transforms into a language that can no longer be translated.
